Ah, summer…the Happy Days, the Summer Nights, the rumbling of Little Deuce Coupes and GTOs….the sounds of the Beach Boys, the Lovin’ Spoonful and the Mamas And The Papas filling the air as surfing and Good Lovin’ made the times Fun, Fun, Fun. Those were the days and we all wish we could experience them now and again, don’t we?
The Aspen Meadow Band would like to cordially invite you to a concert on Sunday, August 19th 2012 at 2:00pm and relive the songs of days gone by like Rag Doll, California Dreamin’, and Do You Believe In Magic in an atmosphere filled with classic cars, lots of free food and drink, and all the feelings of the “good old days”.
The Summer Finally Got Here concert will be held at the Aspen Meadow Amphitheater (the same address as the Christmas Light Display) which seats 300 and put on by four older guys who lived through that era and three younger ones who wish they had been there. It will be a true family time and we invite you to bring lawn chairs, blankets, a picnic lunch, hearts ready to enjoy old-time fun on a hot August night, and especially your hot rod or classic car you’d be proud for all to see and enjoy. Admission is free (any donations will be given to local charities) but we do need you to please visit the web site and register for no-cost tickets to reserve a spot. We sincerely hope to see you there.
